Fosterra President Appointed to SJCE Commission

The City of San Jose approved the creation of a Community Choice Energy department in 2017 to serve all electricity consumers within the City and enable faster achievement of local clean energy goals. The City Council also established a Clean Energy Community Advisory Commission to provide guidance and direction to the newly created City department. Benjamin Foster was appointed by the Mayor for an at-large seat on the Commission for a four-year term starting January 2018. “As a local business owner and resident, I’m am very pleased to be part of San Jose’s commitment to a clean energy future and look forward to working with my fellow commissioners and City staff. We have much work to do, but with SJCE we have the power to create meaningful and lasting change.”
